Love brings globetrotter to Spanish Palms

Anne Stefanyk is an adventurous globetrotter and has lived in exotic destinations including Costa Rica, but her run-in with “true love” has now landed her in Las Vegas, where she and her boyfriend recently purchased their dream home at Spanish Palms.

Stefanyk, originally from Canada, lived in the Bay Area where she managed her business, Kanopi Studios, a web development company. The entrepreneur lived happily in a Victorian-style home, but when she met her now boyfriend, Sean, at a conference, everything changed. Sean owns a business in Las Vegas where he builds car parts for luxury car brands including Audi and Porsche. Since Stefanyk’s business enables her to work from home, Stefanyk decided to trade in the Golden State for the Silver State.

“Love does funny things like make you want to move to Las Vegas,” Stefanyk said, laughing. “Sean was living in an apartment, and since we needed more space, and more importantly, a two-car garage, we began looking at single-family homes. We never thought we’d find everything we needed and more in a condominium community, but Spanish Palms is definitely a game-changer.”

The couple laid out all the pros and cons of living in a single-family home versus a luxury condominium community, but it was no contest. Stefanyk had a laundry list of benefits to living at Spanish Palms, but some of the most appealing features include the attached two-car garage, the 24-hour guard-gated community and their home’s open floor plan.

“Our two-bedroom home has bedrooms located at opposite ends, which is perfect for us because it allows Sean, who works later hours, to sleep in, while I take calls from our home office,” Stefanyk said. “We always believed that maintaining a single-family home might become overwhelming, so we were thrilled to find that Spanish Palms has such a well-manicured community and a staff that genuinely cares about its residents. There is so much value to living here, and with upgraded interiors such as bathroom fixtures and kitchen appliances, the price point that we purchased our home at is almost unheard of.”

Stefanyk said that they are so happy with their investment, they plan to purchase a second home in Spanish Palms in the future.

Spanish Palms offers three floor plans ranging between 744 square feet and more than 1,131 square feet, and with homes starting from $128,000. Spanish Palms signature amenities include Central Park, an expanded fitness center, business center and conference room inside the clubhouse.
