Inspirada ready for new year

Inspirada and Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican are teaming up to make New Year’s resolutions come true with Wellness Wednesdays, a weekly health series that starts Jan. 6 with yoga classes for residents at Inspirada’s Community Center in Solista Park.

Friends and neighbors are invited to register for other workshops in 2016, including Eating on the Run, Healthier Living and a Superfood Lecture in the community center, plus Heart Healthy Cooking demonstrations that take place in Toll Brothers Inspirada Clubhouse. Contact Dignity Health at 702-616-4900 to sign up for these and other classes.

Inspirada’s emphasis on healthy lifestyles also includes access to a full range of outdoor activities. The award-winning city of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department is programming Inspirada’s three new parks with city-sponsored recreation leagues in a variety of sports for all ages from youth to adult, including football, soccer, softball, senior softball, baseball and tennis.

“Park programming of the fields and tennis courts brings a variety of sports into the community where families can walk or ride their bikes to the fields or courts for practice and games,” Inspirada Community Association Manager Jeremy McClain said.

Inspirada’s parks, trails and open spaces invite residents to play and explore outside their front door, thanks to a centralized open space corridor that is less than a five-minute walk to tennis lessons, organized sports activities and special community events.

Potenza, Capriola and Aventura parks are part of the new development in the master-planned community, joining Solista Park, which includes two heated resident pools and an amphitheater by the Resident Community Center.

Potenza Park features interactive musical elements, in addition to lighted multi-use courts, two resident-only heated swimming pools, picnic ramadas, playground, shade structures, a skate area, open turf and restrooms in more than five acres.

Capriola Park fills almost 13 acres with two lighted multi-use fields, three lighted tennis and two basketball courts, picnic ramada, playground, splash pad, shade structures, open turf and dog park.

Aventura Park’s 20 acres includes two ball fields, three multi-use play fields, double basketball courts, four volleyball courts, tennis courts, dog park, splash pad and two heated pools for residents.

Designed by AndersonBaron Landscape Architecture, the new parks were developed by Inspirada Builders LLC, a partnership of four prominent homebuilders: Beazer Homes, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Toll Brothers.

Surrounding the parks are more than 24 model homes in 12 new Inspirada neighborhoods featuring one-, two- and three-story single-family homes designed for every lifestyle. Inspirada is home to more than 2,500 residents. For more information, visit www.inspirada.com or follow the community on Facebook at www.facebook.com/InspiradaNV.
