Century Communities showcase Westmont in southwest Las Vegas

Century Communities is featuring its southwest Las Vegas neighborhood, Westmont. It offers four floor plans that are move-in-ready. Westmont shoppers can take advantage of up to $15,000 in savings at the neighborhood on move-in ready homes that close by Nov. 30, company officials said.

Westmont’s four move-in ready homes are plans 2443, 2229, 1996 and 1532.

“The 2229 plan has a bedroom suite with full bath downstairs,” said Phyllis Abrams, Century Communities sales agent. “It has all the bells and whistles with an open design, stainless steel appliances, upgraded cabinetry, covered patio and tile in the entry and all wet areas.”

The 2443 plan available for move-in at Westmont includes a downstairs bedroom, large loft, covered patio, upgraded 36-inch cabinetry with 3-inch crown molding and granite countertops in the gourmet kitchen.

“This four bedroom design is very popular among our homebuyers,” Abrams said.

Along with the move-in ready homes, Westmont features six two-story plans that can be built from the ground up with sizes ranging between 1,532 and 2,646 square feet. With as many as five bedrooms, this community’s prices begin at $242,990.

“One of the greatest things about owning a home at Westmont is the pool-sized home sites, which are very important in Southern Nevada,” Abrams said. “A large backyard is an uncommon feature when buying a new construction home these days.”

Westmont is at Arby Avenue and El Capitan Way right across from the popular Red Ridge Park. This 26-acre park includes two Little League baseball fields, picnic pavilions, a splash pad, two separate enclosed playgrounds, two swing sets and a Frisbee golf course. The park also includes a lighted basketball court and is surrounded by a mile of walking trails.

The neighborhood is also within walking distance to the highly rated Tanaka Elementary School and Faiss Middle School.

“And with shopping and services just a block and a half away, you can actually walk to dinner, the grocery store or even to go shopping. That is a rarity in Las Vegas,” Abrams said.

Westmont is nearby two top-ranked healthcare facilities, St. Rose San Martin and Southern Hills hospitals, and Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas. Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas includes 25 slides and attractions covering more than 20 acres.

Paver drive and walk ways, gourmet cooking islands, granite kitchen countertops, maple kitchen cabinetry, stainless steel Whirlpool appliances and Moen chrome faucets are all standard features at Westmont.

All Westmont homes are Energy Star certified and include standard features like energy-efficient insulation, Low-E vinyl dual pane argon gas windows, water-saving plumbing fixtures, energy-efficient gas water heater and furnace and a digital programmable thermostat.
