California family moves to Inspirada

Maribell and Rob Tillman were living in Napa, Calif., when he received a life-changing call with an opportunity to further his career in distribution and logistics, this time in Las Vegas and with his now current employer, Levi Strauss &Co. After extensive research, they purchased their family’s new home in Inspirada, and they couldn’t be happier.

“Since we’ve been together the last five years, we have moved twice within California, so when we decided to relocate to Nevada, one of the first things we agreed upon was finding a community where we could raise our kids and enjoy a stable, family-friendly lifestyle,” Maribell Tillman said. “We looked at other attractive communities in Henderson, but our Realtor insisted we visit Inspirada, because it seemed to fit our family’s needs and wants. After exploring the community parks, neighborhoods and speaking with residents, we were sold.”

Maribell and Rob Tillman spent a lot of time enjoying Inspirada’s parks and speaking with residents to gain their honest feedback about living in the community.

“We wanted to make sure it was the right choice for our family. In February of 2015, we signed, sealed and delivered the paperwork for a home. The parks and recreational areas are so lush and perfectly manicured. The splash pads and swimming pools are a cool escape during the summer months. Jolly Beans Café provides delicious coffee and baked goods within walking distance. The resident holiday events truly get everyone into the holiday spirit, and the roaming courtesy security provides a sense of safety that we find invaluable and comforting,” said Maribell.

Ethan, 7, and Madison, 3, the Tillmans’ children, are members of the Durango Soccer League, which hosts their practices and tournaments in Inspirada.

“Rob and I are actively involved in Inspirada and recognize the importance of investing in the community that we call home. Rob Tillman helps coach the soccer games, and because Ethan Tillman is a student at Pinecrest Academy Inspirada Campus, we make donations to the school and I volunteer my time weekly there. We love it here so much that Rob and I have even joined the adult soccer league,” Maribell Tillman said.

And while they don’t have family in Southern Nevada, Maribell Tillman’s mother visits every couple of months and stays with them in their home. The Tillmans enjoy playing the tourist role when they have guests in town, especially since the Strip is located approximately 15 minutes from home where they can enjoy dinner and a show from time to time.

Located in Henderson just minutes from Interstate 15, Inspirada is made up of five nationally acclaimed and award-winning builders, including Beazer Homes, Century Communities, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Toll Brothers. Homebuyers can tour nearly 70 new model homes in 15 different neighborhoods, finding homes suited for every lifestyle, with prices starting from the high $100,000s to $500,000. The sales offices are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
