Ring in new year twice at Mandalay Bay

This new year is going to be so nice, you can ring it in twice.

Once again, Fox is anchoring its New Year’s Eve coverage at Mandalay Bay, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

As part of the special, Lifehouse and Carmen Electra are scheduled to perform at Mandalay Bay Beach.

The taping is open to the public, and admission is free, but it is subject to capacity.

Because the “New Year’s Eve Live!” special is geared to the East Coast, it will take place from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, giving you plenty of time to recover before you ring in 2013 for real.

Or, if you don’t want to brave the Strip, you can always stay home and watch the festivities, tape-delayed, at 11 p.m. Monday on KVVU-TV, Channel 5.
