99 Words About … The Tuesday comedy logjam

So many hours, so few watchable sitcoms.

Yet, there three of them are, pitted against each other at 9 p.m. Tuesdays in a comedy death match.

Matthew Perry gives it his all, but so far "Go On" (KSNV-TV, Channel 3) is just pleasant.

More troubling, "New Girl" (KVVU-TV, Channel 5) and "Happy Endings" (KTNV-TV, Channel 13), which returns next week, are essentially the same show: smart, silly comedies that juggle subtle, easy-to-miss jokes and absurd, over-the-top antics.

It’s a shame all three are crammed together.

Especially since there’s a time when the only comedy option is "2 Broke Girls."
