TV psychic Miss Cleo dies of cancer at 53

LOS ANGELES — TV psychic and personality Miss Cleo died on Tuesday, as reported by TMZ. She was 53.

Miss Cleo, whose real name was Youree Harris, was diagnosed with colon cancer that spread to her liver and lungs, a source told TMZ. She died in Palm Beach County, Fla., reportedly surrounded by family and friends.

Harris first came to fame in the in the late 1990s for her pay-per-call psychic readings on the Psychic Readers Network. She was subsequently known for her catchphrase “Call me now!” Watch one of her colorful commercials below.

Though her iconic persona claimed to be from Jamaica, Harris was actually a native of Los Angeles. Following her gig as Miss Cleo, Harris most notably voiced Auntie Poulet in the video game “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City” in 2002.

Fans of Miss Cleo quickly took to Twitter to pay tribute following her passing.
