‘God Lives in Glass’ benefit set for Saturday
Members of the casts of “Mamma Mia!,” “The Producers,” “Monty Python’s Spamalot” and “Phantom — The Las Vegas Spectacular” will stage a benefit performance of “God Lives in Glass” at 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Community Lutheran Church, 2700 S. Town Center Drive.
The show presents 16 songs, ranging from rap to reggae to pop to gospel, representing Christian, Jewish, Muslim and other faiths from around the world.
The theatrical concert is based on the book “God Lives in Glass” by Robert J. Landy, a New York University drama therapy professor who interviewed children from around the world about their perceptions of God.
Minimum donation is $35, and proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Child care will be provided. For more information, call 686-7034.
