Tango Buenos Aires to perform at UNLV

Tango Buenos Aires will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday at Artemus Ham Hall as part of the UNLV Performing Arts Center’s New York Stage & Beyond Series.

Tango Buenos Aires was created by composer and tango director Osvaldo Requena for the Jazmines Festival in Buenos Aires.

Pianist Cristian Zarate succeeded Requena as music director in June 1999.
