Vegas has been good to Sinbad

From one alternate reality to another. Sinbad frames his holidays by opening a Prince concert at Madison Square Garden, then lands at The Orleans for New Year’s weekend.

Las Vegas has been a steady presence in the career of the durable comedian, whose credits include the Christmas movie “Jingle All the Way” and a recent Comedy Central special, “Where U Been?” It’s a question seldom asked in Vegas.

Sinbad performs at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave. Tickets are $55-$77; call 365-7075.
