Strip Tips: Free fashion advice and UFC meet-and-greets
Leave it to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to give free fashion advice to guests in the name of art.
Through Jan. 6, visitors to the P3 Studio can have an experience with style and fashion that only the rich and famous are privy to. Emma Trask, the creative director at The Style Contingent and the woman behind the fashions in the hotel’s famous advertising campaigns, will style guests.
Other celebrity stylists will be there to share their fashion tips on how guests can update their current wardrobe with accessories. A fashion photographer will take photos and guests will receive a complimentary photo of the entire experience to go along with their free fashion tips.
A second part of the art installation will include curated neo-vintage luxury pieces from the L.A. boutique Decades. All items will also be for sale. Dresses, handbags, shoes, accessories, skirts and coats deemed appropriate for a “Vegas night out” will be on display.
The fashion consultants and Decades’ residency will be open to the public through Jan. 6 with the exception of Wednesday. Hours are from 4 p.m. to midnight. Men and women over 21 are welcome to attend but they are responsible for their own hair and makeup. Trask and other celebrity stylists will also book private consultations (for a fee) outside of regular exhibit hours.

Octagon girls
UFC octagon girls Arianny Celeste and Brittney Palmer will greet fans today at the Las Vegas Fight Shop in Miracle Miles Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort. They will arrive at the store after the UFC 155 weigh-in, so call for times. Fans who buy a poster or calendar for them to sign will be given access to a VIP line. Call 366-0502 for more information.
