Strip Tips: Cabaret show to benefit Golden Rainbow

For the price of a new toy and $10, you can see a holiday cabaret show featuring Strip performers tonight. Golden Rainbow – a nonprofit organization started in 1987 by Strip entertainers to help men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS – will team up with community theater company RagTag Entertainment for a “Holiday Cabaret and Toy Drive” at 7 p.m. today. Performers from “Bite,” “Fantasy,” “Nunsense,” “Hair” and “5th Avenue” will be featured in the cabaret. Admission costs $10, and tickets are available at the door. Audience members should bring one new toy with them, too. Make sure the toy is new, unopened and unwrapped. Donated items will go to the children of Golden Rainbow families. The show will be performed at the Center for Spiritual Living, 1420 E. Harmon Ave.
