Taylor Hicks
You can’t complain about a bad seat for Taylor Hicks. You can see the “American Idol” just fine in the cozy Indigo Lounge at Bally’s. Plus, he’s just as scrunched as you are with his six-piece band cranking out a blend of Southern country, rock, blues and boogie. The show’s at 7 p.m. today and Saturday. Tickets are $39.99-$69.99; call 777-7776.

Voodoo Organist
The Voodoo Organist (aka Scott Wexton) describes his winkingly campy, creepy tunes as “sounding something like the house band in Hell’s Tiki lounge.” We’d liken it to a new-wave dance party in a funeral home. See him at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Bunkhouse, 124 S. 11th St. Tickets are $5; call 384-4536.

‘Frankenstein’ & ‘Bride’
TCM and Universal are teaming up to offer you more boo for your bucks with a one-night-only double feature. Monster movie legend Boris Karloff stars in 1931’s “Frankenstein” and 1935’s “The Bride of Frankenstein,” both newly restored for Universal’s 100th anniversary. See them at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cannery, Colonnade, Orleans, Sam’s Town, Santa Fe Station, South Point and Village Square.

Christine Ebersole
After a supporting role in July’s “Conversation with Stephen Sondheim,” two-time Tony winner Christine Ebersole finally gets her solo in the Vegas spotlight this weekend. She’ll perform her latest show, “The End Of The World As We Know It,” at 8:30 tonight and 7 and 9:30 Saturday in Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center, 361 Symphony Park Ave. Tickets are $39-$69; call 749-2000 or go online to www.thesmithcenter.com.

Cheers to Chocolate
Chocolates by local chocolate-makers and bakers and more than 35 wines should provide plenty to cheer about during the second annual Cheers to Chocolate, a benefit for Easter Seals Nevada that’s scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Tivoli Village, 302 S. Rampart Blvd. Tickets are $35 per person and are available until 1 p.m. today at www.CheerstoChocolate.com, and Saturday at the gate.

The Wanted
The Wanted performs Saturday at Mirage’s 1 Oak nightclub. The British boy band was last seen performing in a Vegas club in May at club Lavo, giving fans tastes of the songs “Chasing the Sun” and “Glad You Came.” The band returns to Vegas with new music – and it’s a month after the band’s Tom Parker used Twitter to curse out MTV’s Europe Music Awards for not nominating The Wanted for an award.
