You’ve heard of these guys, right? They’re pretty good. After years of farewell touring, the Eagles have now taken to showing up at the MGM Grand Garden independently of their touring. Fitz and the Tantrums

Awesomely anachronistic soul fireballs Fitz and the Tantrums open the poolside summer concert series at the Hard Rock with a big splash. (Get it! Check your watch, dudes, it’s pun o’ clock.) Seriously, they’re sure to make some waves. And if you miss this one, you’ll be all wet. See the band at 8 p.m. Saturday at the pool at the Hard Rock Hotel, 4455 Paradise Road. ‘Bully’

A documentary about teen bullying victims doesn’t sound like much of a multiplex draw, unless it’s “Bully,” which the Motion Picture Association of America’s ratings board slapped with an “R” for profanity, preventing kids from seeing it – and triggering yet another round of controversy regarding Hollywood’s 44-year-old ratings system. An edited version (with three F-bombs instead of the original six), now rated PG-13, opens today at Sam’s Town and Village Square.

‘Voyage Round
My Father’

Father-son dynamics have inspired countless tales, some comic, some tragic – and some, like “A Voyage Round My Father,” that are both. Based on “Rumpole of the Bailey” creator John Mortimer’s memories of his tyrannical father, a blind divorce lawyer, the play begins a two-weekend run at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the College of Southern Nevada’s BackStage Theatre, 3200 E. Soft-shell crab

The beginning of this year’s soft-shell crab season will be celebrated at Emeril Lagasse’s Las Vegas restaurants – Delmonico Steakhouse at The Venetian, Table 10 at the Palazzo and Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at the MGM Grand – from Sunday through April 28 with soft-shell dishes at lunch and dinner.

Kelis

Kelis sings at Ditch dayclub today at the Palms and then again tonight at the Palms’ Rain nightclub. The one-time “Milkshake” hitmaker is now a bona fide electronic dance music star, having provided vocals for DJ-producers Benny Benassi (“Spaceship”), David Guetta (“Acapella”) and Calvin Harris (“Bounce”).
