Show & Tell: Megan Nicole Arnoldy of ‘Jersey Boys’

Meet Megan Nicole Arnoldy

“Jersey Boys”

Age: “Whatever the part calls for”

Hometown: Apollo, Pa.

Started taking dance lessons at age 3. … Was “obsessed” with the film “Annie” as a kid (and even had an Annie-like perm). … Did well in math and science, but decided in high school to pursue a career in musical theater. … Earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater from Penn State. … After college, spent two summer seasons with Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. … Joined the Las Vegas production of “Jersey Boys” in June 2011. … Other credits include the national tour of “The Drowsy Chaperone,” the world premiere of “Minsky’s” in Los Angeles, and an international tour in South Korea of “Fame” (“We definitely felt like rock stars there”). … When not performing, is a fitness instructor at Barre Las Vegas. … Favorite Four Seasons song: “Who Loves You.”

On playing multiple roles IN ‘JERSEY BOYS’:

“For me, the best part of the show is the variety of characters, because it keeps it so fresh. That’s my favorite part, because I’ll go off and change clothing and wigs and come back and go from Frankie’s mom to the church lady to one of Tommy’s girlfriends, and it’s so fast. It’s fun and it physicalizes it. (Laughs) It definitely keeps it entertaining.”
