Jerry Seinfeld back at Caesars

If anyone’s still celebrating 10 years of the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, they’d better not forget Jerry.

Celine is still the synonymous tenant, and Elton and Shania now in the race to see who can bring the most sequins. But Jerry Seinfeld’s weekend shows mark 10 years for him as the guy who slips in a few times a year between those bigger productions.

“It’s a big room, but it does seem to work for me,” he noted back in 2005.

One thing is for sure. He still does stand-up because he wants to, not because he needs the money. It was recently reported that “Seinfeld” reruns have generated $3.1 billion in syndication fees in the 15 years since the show ended, earning Seinfeld and co-creator an estimated $400 million each.
