Engvall’s act changes with times
April 8, 2011 - 1:04 am
Bill Engvall has been a Las Vegas headliner for more than a decade, and his comedy ages in real time. Fans who used to hear jokes about his children now hear routines about being an empty nester.
“I’m becoming that grouchy, old, ‘Get off my yard’ guy,” the 53-year-old comedian confided a couple of years ago.
Engvall is also the new host of GSN’s revival of “Lingo,” which starts in June.
You can see him at 7:30 p.m. today at Treasure Island, 3300 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Tickets are $53.90-$71.50; call 894-7722.
