Celebrate 7/7/07 with specialty cocktail

Numerous local restaurants and lounges are celebrating lucky 7/7/07 Saturday with specialty cocktails.

At Boa Steakhouse at The Forum Shops at Caesars, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, the Trip Sevens will combine Baker’s Bourbon, Pama pomegranate liqueur, lemon sour, bitters and Campari for $14.

At sister restaurant Sushi Roku, the Shichi cocktail (named for a Japanese god of good fortune) is kaffir lime vodka, Midori, Triple Sec and lemon sour, garnished with a gold-leaf-wrapped lime; it’s $12.

And at Z’Tejas, 9550 W. Sahara Ave., the Triple Seven has a margarita base with blue Curacao, Midori and Chambord; available throughout July, it’s $7.77. …

In honor of the Tour de France, Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas, 3655 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is adding Paris-Brest pastries — bicycle-wheel-shaped eclairs — to its menu from Saturday through July 29. …

A farewell dinner for Sazio at the Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave., is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Featuring wines from Chateau Ste. Michelle, it’s $39 per person. For reservations, call 948-9500. …

La Salsa Cantina’s new location at the Forum Shops — the company’s new tapas/cantina concept — offers a free margarita with purchase of a food item to locals from opening day Monday through July 29. …

Wines from Banfi Vintners will be featured during a dinner at 7 p.m. Thursday at Gaetano’s Ristorante, 10271 S. Eastern Ave. in Henderson. With an entree of pork loin stuffed with apricot or seared halibut with asparagus, it’s $75 per person, plus tax and tip. For reservations, call 361-1661. …

Trattoria del Lupo at Mandalay Bay, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has a new executive chef and a new menu, inspired by the regions of Italy. …

The Dam Restaurant at Hooters Casino, 115 E. Tropicana Ave., is offering a new $16.99 surf-and-turf special of a 10-ounce ribeye and half-pound of Alaskan king crab legs. …
