Local chefs to compete in challenges Sunday

Local chefs will compete head-to-head at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Henderson Senior Center, 25 Texas Ave. Two teams of four — including Strip chefs, personal chefs and others — will compete in challenges including “signature specialty,” “secret ingredient” and “mystery grocery bag.” The public is invited and will be able to taste the chefs’ creations, win prizes based on their skills and get a lesson in how to create a well-stocked kitchen.
