Playboy Club sets itself apart from other nightclubs

The Playboy Club has all sorts of things that set it apart from other Las Vegas nightclubs.

For instance, it offers gaming — blackjack and roulette — within the club. There’s its understated but wow-inducing home on the 52nd floor of the Palms’ Fantasy Tower. And, of course, there’s that distinctive and instantly recognizable Playboy Bunny logo.

But the most distinctive feature the club offers is its cocktail servers, all of whom take on the form of the iconic Playboy Bunny.

On any given night, visitors to the Playboy Club will see guests — older gentlemen, some of whom even may have held Playboy Club keys in their youth, 20-something men for whom the Playboy brand continues to appeal, and a perhaps surprising number of young women — taking photos of the club’s Bunnies.

The Las Vegas Playboy Club is designed to foster an intimate, sophisticated vibe more reminiscent of a classy cocktail party than a raucous nightclub. In fact, while the club offers music, a dance floor, live DJs and even light shows, patrons who wish to simply sit down and converse will find it easy to do so.

The Playboy Club at the Palms, 4321 W. Flamingo Road, opens at 9 p.m. seven days a week. Cover for men and non-local women is $20 on weekdays and $40 on weekends — with complimentary admission daily for local women — which includes access to the Palms’ Moon nightclub.
