Celebrities, DJs hitting Vegas clubs hard
March 16, 2012 - 1:04 am
If you’re clubbing this weekend, expect long lines. The recession seems to be over, gauging only by the mass of glammed-up revelers at midnight. Here’s your nightclub forecast.
The Playmate’s play date: Hugh Hefner’s runaway bride Crystal Harris appears late tonight at Posh club-lounge inside Crazy Horse III strip club. She tells me she’s single and available, so men, give it your best shot. She’s opening a lingerie store in Hollywood. Try chatting her up about that.
Also tonight: DJ Dirty South at Marquee. DJ AN21 at XS. DJ Datsik at Surrender. DJ Nervo at Tryst. DJ Felix da Housecat at Vanity. DJ Skeet Skeet at Rain. Kele of the band Bloc Party DJs at Moon. DJ Bizzy at Hyde. Redman performs at LAX. Boys Noize perform at Haze. And Rob Kardashian appears at 1 Oak.
Carmen and Rodman hang separately: Carmen Electra appears tonight at Chateau. At the same time, her long-ago ex-husband Dennis Rodman appears at Tabu. I can tell you from personal experience, they are both unbelievably nice in person. It’s too bad those crazy kids couldn’t make it work.
Also Saturday: Common performs at Haze. Akon performs at the Bank. DJ Kaskade at Marquee. DJ Steve Angello at XS. House of Pain jumps at Vanity for St. Patrick’s Day night. DJ Riva Starr at Rain. Lil Jon DJs at Surrender. Miike Snow performs at Tao. Shaq celebrates a birthday at Lavo. DJ Rick Rude at Hyde. Encore Beach Club dayclub reopens.
Sunday: DJs Manufactured Superstars at XS. DJ Asher Roth at Vanity.
Monday: DJs Armin van Buuren and Gareth Emery at Marquee. DJ Porter Robinson at XS.
Tuesday: DJ Dubfire at Chateau’s year anniversary. Sex Panther performs at Moon.
Wednesday: Yelle DJs at ghostbar.
Thursday: DJs Dada Life at Surrender. DJ Outasight at Moon.
Boob Job Alert: Also Thursday night, Haze resurrects that old nightclub staple, the boob job contest, with the winner of “Plastic Makes Perfect” getting free surgery, guaranteeing a roomful of competitors who are used to hearing men tell them, “More than a handful is a waste.”
