Navy Concert Band set for UNLV

Who doesn’t love a man, or woman, in uniform?

The United States Navy Concert Band will perform a free concert at 2 p.m. Sunday in Artemus Ham Hall on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway.

The concert band, the Navy’s premier wind ensemble, performs a variety of marches, patriotic songs and modern wind ensemble pieces.

The original ensemble of the Navy Band, the concert band has been performing for the public for more than 85 years.

The concert is being hosted by the UNLV Wind Orchestra.

Admission is free, but tickets are required. There is a limit of four tickets per person.
