Kid Rock segues from Fremont to Cosmo’s Boulevard Pool

The ink isn’t dry on the sale of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, but this weekend already sees a turn from hipster alt-rock and “Just the right amount of wrong” to “bang a dang diggy” with the midnight glancers and the topless dancers.

A two-night stand by Kid Rock bridges the gap from Fremont Street, where the Kid played an invite-only bash for The D’s anniversary in September, to a two-night stand this weekend at The Cosmopolitan’s swanky Boulevard Pool deck.

The Kid, aka Bob Richie, would be an even richer man if he could collect royalties every time “Cowboy” or “All Summer Long” is danced to in a topless cabaret show on the Strip.
