Dance and daydream with Strfkr
June 6, 2013 - 11:21 am
They’ve got a song on their latest record titled “Yayaya,” which neatly encapsulates the breezy appeal of Strfkr’s urbane electro pop.
“While I’m alive, I live my life,” frontman Joshua Hodges sings over whirring, purring synth on the opening cut of “Miracle Mile,” the Portland, Ore., quartet’s third disc.
It’s an album well suited for both dancing and daydreaming, something to get caught up in and taken away.
Doubt you’ll want to come back.
