The story: Training with the Sister Hoods, Red Riding Hood joins the Big Bad Wolf to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Hansel and Gretel.
The buzz: This sequel to 2005’s animated “Hoodwinked!” features the return of Close (as the voice of Granny) and Warburton (alias investigative reporter Wolf), but Panetierre replaces Anne Hathaway as the voice of Red and Martin Short takes over from Jim Belushi as the Woodsman. Also in the vocal cast: none other than Mr. Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, as Jimmy 10-Strings.
