DVDs

“The Expendables 2” (R): A seemingly simple job gets one of their own killed, leading to a mission of revenge deep in hostile territory, in this sequel reuniting Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li and Las Vegan Randy Couture.

Topping today’s TV transfers: “Ken Burns: The Dust Bowl” and “Diff’rent Strokes: The Complete Fourth Season.”

CDs

Pitbull, “Global Warming”: The first single is “Don’t Stop the Party,” and this bash has quite the guest list.

Christina Aguilera, Chris Brown, Usher, Afrojack, J. Lo, Enrique Iglesias, The Wanted and others all drop by on the latest disc from feisty rapper Pitbull.

That’s some get-together, huh?

Hope he has plenty of cheese dip.

In nonfiction, Tony Bennett reflects on his career and shares lessons he’s learned from friends and family in “Life Is a Gift: The Zen of Bennett.”
