A look at some of the DVDs, CDs and books hitting stores this week:

DVDS

“Taken 2” (PG-13): During a trip to Istanbul two years after the events of “Taken,” retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is once again called upon to use his “very particular set of skills” to save himself and his family (Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen).

Elsewhere, Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Penelope Cruz, Judy Davis and Jesse Eisenberg sign on for Woody Allen’s latest European travelogue, “To Rome With Love” (R). When a young girl (Natasha Callis) becomes obsessed with an old wooden box, her parents (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kyra Sedgwick) learn it contains a dislocated spirit in “The Possession” (PG-13). And two mothers (Maggie Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis) set out to transform their children’s failing inner city school in “Won’t Back Down” (PG).

Topping today’s TV transfers: “Men of a Certain Age: Season Two,” “Being Human: Season Four,” “Merlin: The Complete Fourth Season,” “Life’s Too Short,” “Perry Mason: The Eighth Season, Volume Two” and “The Jackson Five: The Completed Animated Series.”

A$AP Rocky, “LongLiveA$AP”: ASAP?

As in, “as soon as possible?”

Um, not really.

Though its first single, “Goldie,” was released back in April, the much anticipated debut from rapper A$ap Rocky is finally here nine months later.

That’s the time it takes to gestate a baby – in this case, a stoned, drawling, rhyming baby born on the East Coast but sounding as if he were from the South.

“The Fifth Assassin” by Brad Meltzer: Archivist Beecher White, previously seen in “The Inner Circle,” uncovers a conspiracy linking the assassinations of four U.S. presidents in the second of the Culper Ring trilogy.

In another presidential thriller, former sniper Bob Lee Swagger becomes a target while investigating the murder of John F. Kennedy in “The Third Bullet” by Stephen Hunter.
