Sandler, Aniston star in ‘Just Go With It’

The movie: “Just Go With It”

When: Opening Friday at local theaters

Cast: Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Brooklyn Decker

Director: Dennis Dugan

The story: Romancing a much younger teacher, a plastic surgeon enlists his loyal assistant to pose as his soon-to-be ex-wife, triggering an escalating series of comedic complications.

The buzz: Sandler and Aniston don’t look — or act — much like Walter Matthau and Ingrid Bergman, but they’re taking over the roles Matthau and Bergman played in 1969’s “Cactus Flower.” (Goldie Hawn, making her big-screen debut, won a supporting actress Oscar.) Director Dennis Dugan, meanwhile, has helmed five previous Sandler hits, from 1996’s “Happy Gilmore” to 2010’s “Grown Ups.”
