The story: The tense working relationship between Hollywood goddess Marilyn Monroe and master thespian Laurence Olivier during the making of the 1957 bauble "The Prince and the Showgirl," as seen through the eyes of a young Olivier assistant.

The buzz: Williams, a two-time Oscar nominee, may be in the running again for her acclaimed portrayal of the legendary Monroe; in addition to Branagh’s Olivier, the movie features Dench as veteran actress Dame Sybil Thorndike , Julia Ormond as Olivier’s wife, Vivien Leigh, and Dougray Scott as Monroe’s husband, playwright Arthur Miller.
