The story: Mike Wazowski (Crystal) and James P. Sullivan (Goodman) weren’t always inseparable. Their instant dislike for each other, stemming from their college years, is explored in this “Monsters, Inc.” prequel.
The buzz: Families will always turn out for Pixar movies. But with a greater reliance on sequels, prequels and spinoffs — August’s “Cars” offshoot “Planes” will fly into theaters in 2014 — some are starting to question if Pixar’s glory days are in the past.
