First Look: Cooper leads strong cast in ‘The Words’

What: “The Words”

When: Opening Friday at local theaters

Cast: Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde, Zoe Saldana

Writers/Directors: Brian Klugman, Lee Sternthal

The story: A young writer (Cooper) achieves literary success with his breakthrough novel. But while it is, in fact, his – in the sense that he possesses it – he didn’t write it. He found it.

The buzz: Klugman and Sternthal’s only major credit is for coming up with the story for “Tron: Legacy.” On the plus side, though, Cooper ditched his crazy blond dreadlocks from “Hit & Run.”
