L.A. Guns playing Vinyl at Hard Rock

At one point in time, there were two separate bands making the rounds as L.A. Guns, firing rounds at chastity and common sense alike.

One group was helmed by guitarist Tracii Guns, who founded the Sunset Strip sleaze metallers in 1983, and another was fronted by singer Phil Lewis, who was the voice of the L.A. Guns’ signature records in the late ’80s and early ’90s.

Both laid claim to the L.A. Guns name, until Guns broke up his version of the band in 2012.

Lewis and Co. have toured steadily since, but there may be a thawing of the ice between Lewis and Guns, as the two recently took the stage together at a Sin City Sinners gig here in Vegas.

For now, Lewis’ L.A. Guns features guitarist Michael Grant, but it seems like they could be pulling the trigger on a reunion with their namesake six-stringer before too long.
