New theater company stages ‘Compleat Works’
Good Medicine Theatre Company is presenting its debut performance, “The Compleat Works of Willm Shkspr (abridged),” through Sept. 8 at the Winchester Cultural Center Theater, 3130 S. McLeod Drive.
The show stars Southern Nevada actors Alexandria Bevilacqua, Jaime Puckett and Tricia McNatt.
Performances are at 7 p.m. today, Saturday and Sept. 6-8 with additional Saturday matinees at 2 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students 18 and younger.
Tickets will be sold at the door.

Lost City Museum displays traditional art
The Lost City Museum in Overton will host “The Texture and Weave of the Traditional Art” exhibition Saturday through Oct. 31.
The artwork highlights traditional and ethnic visual arts created by artisans who live and work in Nevada
Works include American Indian basketry, horse gear, silver work, Ukrainian egg writing, Polish paper cutting, Iranian miniature painting and Shipibo, or Peruvian embroidery.
The Lost City Museum is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Admission is $3 for adults age 18 and over, $2 for anyone 65 and over, and children and members enter free.
The museum is located in Overton on State Route 169 off Interstate 15, Exit 93.
