Tonight in Las Vegas: Vegas Uncork’d and ‘Power of Love Gala’

TONIGHT IN LAS VEGAS

Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appetit starts its four-day food-and-wine festival when celebrity chefs gather at The Vortex at The Linq Hotel at noon to saber off a cork on a giant bottle of prosecco. In the evening, Caesars Palace chefs Michael Chow, Mary Sue Milliken, Susan Feniger, Guy Savoy and Greg and Marc Sherry host their Master Series dinners, while Frank Pellegrino Jr. celebrates the 10th anniversary of Rao’s. Over at The Venetian, Timon Balloo hosts at his Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill.

Gwen Stefani and Jon Bon Jovi are the entertainers at the 21st Annual “Power of Love Gala” at MGM Grand Garden Arena hosted by Keep Memory Alive of The Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. Awards will be presented to Ronald Perelman for philanthropy and tennis superstar Andre Agassi for community support. Illusionist Siegfried Fischbacher receives the Caregiver Award for his dedication to Roy Horn of Siegfried & Roy. A few $1,500 tickets with host chefs Wolfgang Puck and Michael Mina remain. Wolf receives a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame and hosts his chef and manager partners and friends to a celebration dinner at Spago in Los Angeles before flying here for Friday’s lunchtime party at Spago at Caesars to mark its 25th anniversary.

Vegas Uncork’d continues its celebration with a Spago luncheon at Caesars to celebrate 25 years of Wolfgang Puck’s leadership of the Las Vegas culinary scene, plus the Grand Tasting with 100 star chefs and vintners around the Garden of the Gods pool. On Saturday, it’s the first Picnic in the Park with the chefs of MGM Resorts hotels on the Strip serving an outdoor barbecue, and Gordon Ramsay re-creates his “Hell’s Kitchen” at Caesars.

Steely Dan closes out its limited engagement at The Venetian.

Brett Eldredge kicks it up at the new Park Theater at Monte Carlo.

Wynonna Judd and The Big Noise bring it to Tropicana Theater.
