Tonight in Las Vegas: British breakout band Don Broco headlines Vinyl

TONIGHT IN LAS VEGAS

Plans for Sir Elton John’s run of April-May shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace have been canceled due to medical reasons. “The Million Dollar Piano” prince is recuperating after becoming ill, on a flight to London from Chile, with a rare and unusual bacterial infection.

Sir Elton plans to resume performing in England on June 3, then returns here in October before ending his run on the Strip next May. But watch for that possible renewed extension!

“30 Rock” creator and former “SNL” star Tina Fey premieres her comedy “Great News” on NBC, and I appear in one of the early episodes.

British breakout band Don Broco is at Vinyl at The Hard Rock Hotel.

Ex-Ramones bass player C.J. Ramone is solo at Backstreet Bar & Billiards on Fremont Street.

Greg Lopez makes the daytime music flow at Go Pool at The Flamingo.

And DJ Burns sets the fiery mood with an ’80s party at Heart of Omnia at Caesars.

Superjoint puffs up a storm at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas at The Linq Promenade.

Pop punk from Seattle is served three ways with Tacocat, The Negative Nancys and Van Der Rohe at Beauty Bar on Fremont Street.

Chef owner Ken Aoki officially opens his Jaburritos, a fusion of sushi and Mexican-inspired menu, at The Linq Promenade.

DJ Getter lives up to his name and goes full pelt at Surrender at Encore.

DJ Shadowred hits the dual decks at Chateau at Paris Las Vegas.
