Tonight in L.V.
Labor Day Weekend is over, but a couple of our nightclubs are still going strong with guest DJs:
Booyah! Showtek, the Dutch duo of EDM, are set to rock Omnia at Caesars Palace.
Another Dutchman, Quintino, dives into Drai’s Night Splash atop The Cromwell. Have they all stopped picking tulips to become DJs?
DJs Sucio and Exile are at Vanguard Lounge on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas.
Nearby, DJ Brian Cid presents Cymatic Sessions at Downtown Cocktail Room.
The opening of The Mob Museum exhibit of Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs was lost in the Labor Day Weekend celebrations, but now that we’ve settled back into some sense of normalcy, the biker gangs story makes a fascinating tour. Undercover 25-year ATF agent Jay Dobyns, who infiltrated the Hells Angels, can be seen at the new exhibit.
Outlaw biker gangs who started in America are today on six continents in 41 countries engaged in drug and firearms trafficking, theft, extortion and other organized crime. Jay’s jacket, jewelry and accessories he wore when he infiltrated the Hells Angels are all on display.
Tomorrow in L.V.
The cast of JERSEY BOYS, closing after a six-year run on the Las Vegas Strip, meets the media for the last time at Paris Las Vegas before the curtain comes down Sept. 18.
Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa is presented with the Icon Award at his restaurant in Caesars Palace.
Benihana, with those sizzling shrimp-tossing chefs, opens at Fashion Show mall.
And we talk with JERSEY BOYS actress Natalie Gallo and go racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with Brian Doleshal, the adrenaline adventurer in charge of Richard Petty Driving Experience at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
