Red Carpet Report: Kendra Wilkinson Baskett, Jai Rodriguez in ‘Sex Tips’

Floodgates of information opened Tuesday from New York after I reported that former Playboy beauty Kendra Wilkinson Baskett is bringing a reality-TV sex show to the Strip.

Kendra will star with “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s” Jai Rodriguez in the off-Broadway hit “Sex Tips for Straight Women From a Gay Man” based on the 1997 bestselling book of the same name where no topic was taboo and insider tips were right from the source: a gay man.

Here’s a YouTube explanation of the show from Jason Michael Snow, who starred in “Sex Tips,” and here’s a YouTube video look of the show in production:

I’m hearing that “Sex Tips” will be booked at Paris Las Vegas with a June opening after previews in May. The production is “a highly theatrical audience-interactive seminar with mature content.”

NEW DATES FOR CELINE

Superstar singer Celine Dion has added 37 dates to her The Colosseum at Caesars Palace schedule that includes New Year’s Eve. Celine is now committed to a run of shows in September, October, November and into 2018 from Jan. 3 to 20.

TINY HOUSE AT PARTY CENTRAL

It is only 344 square feet, yet boasts sleeping space for five and features a kitchen, dining area and bathroom. It’s known as Sugar Shack, and the home with a fireplace, front yard and picket fence sits at the center of Gold Spike’s Downtown Backyard.

Now you can win a weekend stay in the eco-friendly shack in the middle of the party. The winner, announced May 1, gets the opportunity for a two-night stay with three friends. Entries can be submitted at http://bit.ly/2oRGqXz.

Sugar Shack also can be booked for $500 per night Fridays and Saturdays for the parties in the playground, which feature around-the-clock drinking, oversized interactive games, main stage and one-of-a-kind bar. The Backyard also has food trucks, roller-skate parties and llamas.

FRONTYARD FUN

Where there’s a back, there has to be a front? Now the family-owned Ellis Island Casino & Brewery is set to expand with an outdoor dining, drinking and entertainment venue to be named The Frontyard. The two-story venue with capacity of 300 will feature a brewpub atmosphere with bar games and live entertainment.

The double-decker restaurant will have an atrium view on the second floor to watch over music and provide a view of the Strip. An existing exterior wall on the brewery will be replaced by glass so that guests can peer through a window at copper tanks to watch the brewing process.

OH MY GOODNESS!

“Oh my goodness” was the line that brought howls of laughter when comedian Paul Lynde reacted to outrageous subject matter on “Hollywood Squares.” “The Paul Lynde Show” has opened at Windows Showroom at Bally’s with impersonator Michael Airington, and audiences have given it great reviews.

The one-man show is based on the comedian’s 1976 live-theater production of the same name and features voiceovers from the “Hollywood Squares” master himself Peter Marshall, plus a three-man band with music director Keith Thompson and The Bronx Wanderers stars Vinny Adinolfi and Fernando Torte.

FINANCIAL FIGURES

Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority data for 2016 shows that 27 percent of visitors were here for the first time, an 11 percent increase over the previous year. Visitor spending per trip for food and beverages also rose from an average of $292.42, to $319.93.

For the third consecutive year, we had record-breaking visitation with 42.9 million visitors to the tune of $60 billion. Las Vegas, voted the No. 1 trade-show destination for the 23rd consecutive year, hosted nearly 22,000 meetings and trade shows with a record-breaking 6.3 million delegates. Tourism supports 407,000 jobs, or $17 billion in wages.

LAS VEGAS DOMINATES

The April issue of Maxim is dominated with 20 pages of Las Vegas stories and photos with the conclusion, “Las Vegas has emerged as the country’s best entertainment destination with world-class dining, off Strip adventures and dusk-till-dawn partying.”

Maxim spotlights Andy Masi, Nobu, Jennifer Lopez, Beauty & Essex’s pawn shop, our sports books, Las Vegas Golden Knights and hotel titan Sheldon Adelson. Model Bo Krsmanovic perched on a kitchen stool wearing just a blouse over her shoulders is the cover model, and she hosted the issue’s celebration party at The Hard Rock Hotel last weekend.

DIVORCE PARTY ENDS MARRIAGE

What’s more Las Vegas than a divorce party? Crazy Horse III Gentlemen’s Club will throw a bash to celebrate the newfound freedom of actress and model Courtney Stodden on April 28.

Courtney is known for marrying actor Doug Hutchinson when she was 16 and he was 51. The couple’s relationship was featured on “Good Morning America,” E! News and VH1’s “Couples Therapy.” Married here in 2011, Courtney will celebrate the end of her marriage here, as well.

STAR SURVEILLANCE

Model and actor Tyson Beckford, now guest hosting at Chippendales at The Rio, treated his 16 cast mates to “Fantasy” at The Luxor and posed for photographs with the ladies post-show.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski continued his weekend of partying at Rehab at The Hard Rock Hotel for the College Bikini invitational. DJ 3LAU spun the music as Rob celebrated a friend’s bachelor party. Guests included pro wrestler Mojo Rawley, Barbie Blank Souray of “Wags” and rapper Whoo Kid.

Also at Rehab, champagne showers and birthday cake were flying at pop star Austin Mahone’s 21st birthday bash, with Josh Murray (“The Bachelor”) and dancer Willie Gomez attending.
