As another Vegas summer arrives and my good friend, Robin, embarks on his annual European getaway, I’m thrilled to return as a guest columnist and reflect on the amazing events that have transpired, both for Color Salon inside Caesars Palace and myself.

My friends and I used to play a game in Tokyo where we would order something random from a menu in a restaurant which we could barely read; give that food item to each other and say: “Can I watch you eat that?” We then wait to be thoroughly entertained by the reaction. Most often than not it was disappointing as the food was usually pretty good. (If you have life threatening food allergies I do not recommend you play this game.)

And, it all starts today with the Green Fairy from the hit “Absinthe” show, Melody Sweets who opens every show there descending from the roof in a sassy, green burlesque gown.
The five-day holiday weekend is in full swing and last night’s (July 2) fireworks at Caesars Palace certainly made the calendar look as if July 4 had arrived 48 hours early.
Day 13 (July 3) UFC International Fight Week — starts with the live taping of FS1’s this Wednesday (July 5) at Park Theater in the Monte Carlo hotel and continues all week at T-Mobile Arena through Saturday.
