The one-time purple ballroom at Hooters Casino has been transformed into a white palace for the new magic-and-music show “Magician vs. Maestro” by Jarrett & Raja of Las Vegas that opened just off the Strip on Monday night.
A treasure trove of Strip personalities attended the premiere of the dinner show, including magicians Murray Sawchuck, Doug “Lefty” Leferovich and Tommy Wind, along with Clint Holmes and Kelly Clinton Holmes, Jeff Civillico, Ben Stone and Jasmine Trias, Joelle Righetti and Donald Trump impersonator John Di Domenico.
And, of course, the curvy, cutie Hooters Girls in their trademark orange shorts. “Magician vs. Maestro” is a unique, family-friendly magic show because Raja gets to play several known compositions, including John Lennon’s “Imagine,” “Blue Danube” and Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
“It’s serious music broken up by the magic,” said Raja. But Jarrett told me: “It’s magic broken up with some music.” They both agreed with me that their show is the only dinner theater in Las Vegas offering authentic chicken wings. Our thanks to Ira Kuzma for his photo gallery.
