Gordon Ramsay to create ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ experience at Caesars Palace

TV star chef Gordon Ramsay is debuting his restaurant concept “Hell’s Kitchen” at Caesars Palace, and the intent is for episodes of the 2017-2018 Season 17 on Fox to be filmed there. This is the multi-Michelin star chef’s fifth restaurant here and his second at Caesars.
“Hell’s Kitchen” will take over the space of Stripside Cafe & Bar, formerly Serendipity 3, at the Flamingo and Strip intersection. Gordon plans to have it open this winter. He said: “Fans of the show have been asking us to bring a ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ restaurant to life since Day 1, so I’m thrilled to finally be doing it here at Caesars Palace.
“A key element of the show’s success has always been the diners’ experience, so we are excited for guests in Las Vegas to feel like they, too, are part of the show — flames and all.” To mark the announcement today, Gordon set fire to the TV series’ 17-foot signature pitchfork driven across the desert from the Fox studio lot in Los Angeles.
The new eatery inspired by the hit show will seat 300 guests and feature indoor and Strip-side patio dining with a daily themed brunch and dinner menu. Caesars Palace Regional President Gary Selesner said: “Like so many others worldwide, I, too, have long been a fan of ‘Hell’s Kitchen.’
“We are thrilled to be bringing a first-of-its-kind restaurant like this to our guests and visitors in Las Vegas. We are so proud to welcome a second Gordon Ramsay restaurant into Caesars Palace, a partnership that continues to be the perfect recipe throughout many of our resorts.
“The high-energy restaurant and bar will take its cue directly from the eponymous ITV Entertainment and Fox primetime television hit seen worldwide by millions of viewers. It will shine the spotlight on many of the ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ cast/chef recipes and dishes featured on the show, including many of Gordon’s signature dishes.”
Ed Simpson, executive VP of Business Development and International for ITV America, added: “Gordon is a true visionary, and all of us at ITV America are thrilled to be working with him on this passion project, which brings the ‘Hell’s’ Kitchen’ experience to so many fans.
“We see this as a unique extension of a powerful brand that, 17 seasons in, continues to resonate with millions worldwide. It’s an honor to be in partnership with Gordon and Caesars in what will be a must-visit destination.”
The restaurant, which combines TV theatrics with fine dining, will be designed by Jeffrey Beers International. I’m told that it will be an experiential and immersive destination restaurant where guests will feel transported to the studio set as if they are participating in the show.
“It’s the plan to have Gordon shoot episodes of the show there while it is open so that they have a real feel for being on his television show,” I was reliably told. With design features engaging to all senses and a nod to the red and blue teams on the show, the dynamic and bustling kitchen will be the centerpiece of this eatery appreciated from every seat in the house.
Construction on “Hell’s Kitchen” begins this summer with an expected opening this winter. “Hell’s Kitchen” airs in 41 countries. Gordon has 11 shows airing on British and American television.
The acclaimed chef and restaurateur employs more than 700 people in London where he has a collection of 14 restaurants. His Gordon Ramsay Group has 31 restaurants and seven Michelin stars, with international restaurants from Europe to the U.S. and Middle East.
