Drew Scott turns wedding into TV series; Cher renews residency.

Property Brother reality series star Drew Scott, currently appearing on “Dancing with the Stars,” is marrying his fiancée Linda. And the duo is not only moving from Las Vegas to Los Angeles but they are turning their new honeymoon house into yet another TV reality series. HGTV cable has contracted for a five-episode series of their massive renovation of the couple’s first home together and it will premiere on Nov. 22 when they are under the gun to complete the makeover in time to host their pre-wedding party!

Drew has bought a 1920s era, 3,400-square-foot home in an historic LA neighborhood. Drew will be joined by his brother, Jonathan, from Las Vegas and Linda to overhaul the bedrooms, baths and living area with stunning upgrades and modern amenities. They also will install an entire wall of custom curved glass windows in the kitchen to let in California sunshine.

Linda and Drew are adding a huge third-floor deck complete with a hot tub and pergola, plus a backyard pool area with built-in firepit and comfy seating and a dedicated craft room for her.

Said Jonathan: “The home is nearly 100 years old so we’re dealing with the same challenges that any homeowner faces when taking on a major renovation. But it’s been an honor to help create a family home for my brother and Linda. It’s going to wind up a very special place.”

Drew added: “We’re restoring elements of the English-inspired architecture and adding modern updates. Linda and I are going for an old Hollywood glam, art deco design style.”

The twins’ older brother JD will lend a hand throughout the series, building a foundation wall and installing a beam in the kitchen. Linda is also donning her tool belt, wielding a hammer while reviving the Old World charm for her own creative challenges. And, she’s already got the retro-style pink poodle wallpaper ready for the baths.

She summed up: “We’ve shared our relationship with fans for a few years now. We can’t wait to share our new home with them, too.”

DISNEY NIGHT DANCING

Meantime, Drew is still “alive” on the ABC-TV hit “Dancing with the Stars,” currently in its 25th season. Although he’s in the second slot from the bottom on the leaderboard just above Nick Lachey, he istied with Nikki Bella, Sasha Pieterse, Vanessa Lachey, Terrell Owens and Frankie Muniz. Tonight (Oct. 16), at the halfway point of the season he will dance with his professional partner Emma Slater a Viennese Waltz on the Disney Night themed program. They will tackle “Rainbow Connection” from “The Muppet Movie” and all the critics are predicting he will remain safe for at least another week.

WICKED WHISPERS & RACY RUMORS

• The Purple Reign show starring Jason Tenner as the singer Prince in the tribute show did close at the Westgate, and I’m hearing from reliable sources that he will soon announce its move to a full-time residency at the Tropicana.

• For the first time ever the DJs from the Hakkasan Group are teaming up with George Clooney and his Casa Amigos tequila partner, entertainment earl Rande Gerber, to sell tables within the special VIP “Hill.” It’s a luxurious 10,000-square-foot entertainment pavilion overlooking the 16th, 17th and 18th holes of the Shriners Hospitals for Children’s Open at this year’s PGA tournament Oct. 30-to Nov. 5 . After the games at TPC Summerlin, the attendees will enjoy a special meal prepared by the chefs from Andiron Steak and Sea.

• Legendary icon Cher who is set to wrap up her 2017 residency dates at the Park Theater in the Luxor Nov. 8-25, has agreed to extend her contract into next year. She’s adding 24 new shows Jan. 17-Feb. 3, again Feb. 17-25 at MGM National Harbor near Washington, D.C., and then back to Vegas in May 2-19. Her Classic Cher show has been a triumphant return capping her 50-year career and garnering rave reviews from around the world.

FINAL SHOWS

After 450 shows played to 1.8 million fans at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace since February 2004, Sir Elton John will end his critically acclaimed residency there with a final run of 14 shows starting April 28 and ending May 19. His second residency there with the “Million Dollar Piano” began in September 2011. “His hits have defined a generation and for over a decade he’s graced our stage” said Gary Selesner, president of Caesars Palace. “His residency has set the standard for all those that have followed and we are grateful he called Caesars home for 450 memorable performances.”

OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION CONTINUES

It only took hypnotist Anthony Cools one hit of the mallet to tap the keg at the Oktoberfest celebrations that continued over the weekend at Hofbrauhaus. Anthony, who headlines at the Paris Las Vegas as the star of the longest-running hypnotist show on the Strip, was followed to the beer hall by comedy magician Nathan Burton of the V Theater at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile and his two blonde bombshell assistants. The 14th annual Oktoberfest runs through Oct. 31 and this coming weekend master impressionist Gordie Brown from Planet Hollywood and comedy magician Mac King from Harrah’s will do the honors.

NATIONAL BOSS’S DAY

Hapless assistant Wanda Widdles has petitioned the commissioners of Clark County with the launch of a campaign to rename a forgotten street in honor of “the greatest boss in the world” in celebration of National Boss’s Day, today. She wants the county to rename one of the city’s forgotten cul-de-sacs as Gazillionaire Court to recognize “The Gazillionaire,” who headlines the “Absinthe” show at Caesars Palace.

She said she had the idea for a petition when she walked into the pole of a street sign while on the way to pawn her mother’s wedding ring at the National Liquidation Center: “I was dazed at the corner of Jerry Lewis Way and Dean Martin Drive but asked why “The Gazillionaire” didn’t have a Las Vegas street named after him. Turning a dead-end street into a court named after my boss would be a beautiful tribute.”

Wanda plans to go block by block throughout the city to get petition signatures. She gushed: “ ‘The Gazillionaire’ really is the best possible boss anyone could ever dream of. He lets me on stage to introduce him during the show every night. I get to bring him drinks, take his suits to the dry cleaners and be on call 24/7. It’s such a joy that the idea of getting paid as well doesn’t even enter my mind.”
