Confirmed! Kendra Wilkinson Baskett, Jai Rodriguez in ‘Sex Tips’

Sexy Playboy cover girl and centerfold Kendra Wilkinson Baskett, who starred in the E! Entertainment reality-TV series “The Girls Next Door” shot at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion near Los Angeles, confirmed today our previous Wicked Whisper + Racy Rumor that she’s bringing a sexy show to the Strip.

The New York City production of “Sex Tips for Straight Women From a Gay Man” will premiere in Las Vegas on May 27 at Paris Las Vegas with stars Kendra (“Kendra on Top”) and Jai Rodriguez (“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”). Based on the novel of the same name, the show has been acclaimed as “hysterically titillating” by Theater Mania and hailed by Broadway World as “a night of laughter that makes you feel good in all the wrong places.”

“I saw the show in New York City and was excited to be asked to join the production and debut it in Las Vegas,” Kendra, whose starring role will be prominently featured in her forthcoming season of “Kendra on Top,” said in a news release.

“People spend so much time covering up or hiding their sexuality. My character progresses from being a shy, passive professor to a sexually empowered woman ready to seize the world and the men in it.” I’ll be talking with Kendra later today about this sex-affirmative, coming-of-age show.

She’ll star as Robyn, a bookish and demure host of a university authors forum. Featured author Dan Anderson, played by Jai, brings Robyn out of her professorial shell by encouraging audience members and her to embrace their naughtiest instincts with the help of Stefan, her hunky stage assistant. Casting for the role of Stefan will be announced at a later date.

The 75-minute production mixes comedy, charisma and a lot of sass to create a memorable evening perfect for everyone from couples looking to spice up their routines to groups interested in a girls — or guys — night out.

Performing eight shows a week in the intimate Anthony Cools theater just off the casino floor, audience members can expect a highly interactive show that draws upon their own participation to demonstrate many of the most outrageous and hilarious techniques.

“This is ‘Queer Eye for the Straight Woman’,” said Jai, whose work on “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” on Bravo won an Emmy Award. “I’m excited to work with Kendra and bring this refreshingly modern show to the Las Vegas Strip.”

A co-production of Adam Steck’s Las Vegas-based SPI Entertainment, “Sex Tips for Straight Women From a Gay Man” is an interactive engagement that takes the motto “practice makes perfect” to a whole new level. As the ultimate adults-only party, the show promises to leave audiences with intimate bedroom insight.

“The success of the show in New York City and on tour has exceeded my wildest expectations,” said co-producer Matt Murphy. Adam added: “My wife and I saw the show for the first time in New York City and immediately thought, ‘Las Vegas needs this.’ It’s fun, lighthearted, includes crowd interaction, and, most importantly, it’s a little bit naughty.”

“Sex Tips for Straight Women From a Gay Man” will be performed nightly (dark Wednesdays) at 7, with additional 11 p.m. shows Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets are now on sale and start at $39 (plus taxes and fees). A VIP ticket upgrade will be available and includes a meet-and-greet and souvenir photograph with the stars.
