Celebrities in L.V.: iHeartRadio Music Festival, Life Is Beautiful, Hall & Oates, ‘Max Rose’

Only a city as large and dynamic as Las Vegas could host two mega-concert festivals in the same weekend and still have space for other stars to perform and party!

The 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival boasts Britney Spears, U2, Drake, Twenty-One Pilots, Billy Idol, Florida Georgia Line, One Republic, Sia, Cage the Elephant, Tears for Fears, Ariana Grande, Pitbull, Usher, Sting and more for two nights at T-Mobile Arena starting tonight.

Producers say it’s the biggest music festival of the year with 16 superstar acts who are worth $2.5 billion, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com. Some 400 workers plan to blast 320 pounds of tissue confetti during the sets and trigger 4,600 pieces of pyrotechnics.

Meanwhile, it takes three nights spread over Downtown blocks to host the fourth-annual Life Is Beautiful Music & Arts Festival with Mumford & Sons, G-Eazy and The Shins headlining tonight; J. Cole, Empire of the Sun, Jane’s Addiction and Bassnectar on Saturday; and Major Lazer, The Lumineers and Flume closing it out Sunday.

In all, nearly 80 music acts at Life Is Beautiful are joined for the first time by 20 standup comics. Plus, 60 guest chefs, food trucks and restaurants at two Culinary Villages and 20 artists with canvas creations and installations. Look for recent Emmy winner RuPaul among the more than 50 lecturers aiming to make our lives more beautiful.

Even 35 of Cirque du Soleil’s performers from all the resident Strip spectaculars are taking to the streets with 30-minute shows every hour. Expect more than 100,000 fans to jam the four outdoor stages during the weekend.

The legendary Jerry Lewis, 90, steals the thunder with the Las Vegas premiere of his film MAX ROSE, his first starring role in a movie in 25 years. Jerry will be at Village Square Stadium Cinemas on Saturday, so other Las Vegas performers can put the Las Vegas resident on the hot seat during a Q+A.

Looking for more comedy? David Spade and Ray Romano headline the Aces of Comedy series at The Mirage tonight and Saturday.

There’s yet another festival this weekend, this one in Pahrump. The Moving Wall, a half-size replica of the Vietnam War Memorial, has been added to this year’s Pahrump Fall Festival. Events include a rodeo, Highway 160 Parade and 1980s classic car show.

Let’s turn the key and roar down the road to join in all the fall fun and festivities of an incredible weekend of music and stars set out here in our weekly ROBIN’S ROYAL RUNDOWN:
