Celebrities in L.V.: Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, Hunter Hayes, Whoopi Goldberg, Jay Leno, Jeff Foxworthy

Two veteran superstar singers, 90-year-old Tony Bennett and 74-year-old Barbra Streisand, will be keeping Las Vegas young and in the spotlight this weekend.

For Tony, it will be all about singing his hits; for Barbra, it will possibly be about rallying her audience to vote for Hillary Clinton and attacking Donald Trump. At her first of a nine-city concert tour in Los Angeles on Tuesday, one of the best singers ever minced no words slamming the Republican presidential nominee.

On her new “Music, Memories and Magic Tour” at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night, you might be surprised to see her onstage with a mentalist for magic in between such hits as “People.” She sings “Happy Days Are Here Again,” which she sang for the inaugurations of JFK, LBJ and Bill Clinton. Presumably, she won’t be invited to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in January if HRC isn’t elected the next president.

Expect things to be far less political when Tony sings his “San Francisco” and “New York” anthems at the Caesars Palace 50th anniversary gala Saturday night. He recently celebrated his 90th birthday at this year’s “Keep Memory Alive Gala” at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

We posted a preview of the 50th anniversary Caesars weekend on Thursday, as it features fireworks tonight hosted by chef Gordon Ramsay and Saturday’s show with host Howie Mandel and headliners Tony, Donny & Marie Osmond, Wayne Newton and more.

Other items of note this weekend:

* It’s a reprieve! Announced this morning, the closing of STEVE WYNN’S SHOWSTOPPERS has been pushed back to Dec. 31, as opposed to next month, with new songs and staging planned.

* BAR RESCUE star Jon Taffer returns to Las Vegas to “save” the classic Champagne dive bar on his Spike reality-TV in its Season 4 of new episodes. The bar that boasts prior Mob ties is in danger of closing its doors, and Jon attempts to save it for the owner and his staff. Tune in at 9 p.m. Sunday.

* Saturday’s free Rock of Vegas Summer concert series continues downtown on Fremont Street Experience with Vertical Horizon.

* Don’t miss out on the opening-weekend celebrations of Dave & Buster’s at Downtown Summerlin.

* Blonde bombshell artist Stacey Wells opens her “Pop the Cork” art exhibit at Oh My Goddard Gallery in Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops and is onsite Saturday and Sunday. Her vintage pop art hangs on the walls of collectors worldwide, including Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, who found her portrait of him in Hawaii and now has it in his Hollywood bedroom.

Stacey’s work comes from when she was just 8 years old and traveled to Australia with her mom and sisters to fulfill their father’s dream to take the family there. He was killed in a plane crash when a passenger put a bomb onboard a flight he was piloting. The exhibit is definitely worth checking out.
