Camille and Larry Ruvo host Keep Memory Alive fundraiser in Rome

Traveling foodie Andrew Zimmern is about to wrap up his American culinary adventures on the Travel Channel’s “Bizarre Foods” show with a road trip of self-discovery across our Mojave Desert. It’s a journey back in time to rediscover forgotten cuisines of the adventurous spirit of America’s earliest pioneers. Andrew, who has previously filmed episodes in Las Vegas, has sailed down the mighty Mississippi; trekked the Yukon Gold Rush Trail; and trodden in the footsteps of Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride for this year’s programs. On the “Vegas Road Trip” episode to air Sept. 26, Andrew will meet up with zany props comic Carrot Top from the Luxor for a Sin City meal and then stop for peanut butter, oxtail stew and alien-inspired jerky to complete his American journey.
