Enrique Iglesias books Resorts World as only US shows in ‘22

Enrique Iglesias chose Cinco de Mayo to announce dates on the Strip to celebrate Mexican Independence Day Weekend.

The Latin superstar is playing the Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas on Sep. 16-17, his only U.S. dates this year. Los Tres Tristes Tigres is the special guest. Tickets are on sale 10 a.m. Friday at AXS.com and rwlasvegas.com/entertainment. Showtime is 9 p.m. Iglesias’ most recent show in Las Vegas was his co-headlining appearance with Ricky Martin at the MGM Grand Garden on Sept. 25, 2021.

Eighty-eight keys, and years

Comedy icon Pete Barbutti celebrated his 88th birthday on Wednesday night at his new home court, The Nevada Room at Commercial Center. Barbutti earned a proclamation from Clark County honoring his enduring entertainment career. Wednesday ‘s show sold out.

Barbutti has had a monthly residency at the club and is back in June. His frequency (monthly or every other month) is to be determined.

Count’s Vamp’d Rock Bar & Grille at 6750 West Sahara Avenue rocks it up with Crobot (special guests Mojave Sun and Double Wide) at 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $10 pre-sale, $15 at the door.
