Rainbow Blvd. And Jane Karadbil recommended Whole Foods Market, which has four locations in the valley. …

For Bob Kila, who’s looking for Durkee Famous Sauce, Ann Brown and Allen Taylor reported finding it at Glazier’s Food Marketplace, 8525 W. Warm Springs Road. Since Lent has begun, it’s time for the annual fish fry at Christ the King Catholic Community, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. The dinners, which will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday (and every Friday during Lent) include fried pollack or baked cod, macaroni and cheese or french fries, cole slaw, rolls, lemonade, iced tea or coffee and dessert. Proceeds help fund scholarships at the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
