Pulled pork will be the focus of the Street Food Throwdown from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the future site of Slidin’ Thru’s southwest restaurant at 5165 S. Fort Apache Road. Slidin’ Thru, Haulin’ Balls, Curbside Cafe, Rusty Pickle and Ben’s BBQ & Smokehouse are expected to compete, and Grouchy John’s Coffee also will be serving. …
The third annual Artfully Sweet, for the benefit of Southern Nevada Children First, is from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at a private residence in Summerlin.
