St. Francis Winery next in Chef Artist Dinner Series

“Dinner in Sonoma: The Wines and Cuisine of St. Francis Winery,” with David Bush, executive chef of the winery in the Sonoma Valley, will be the next installment in the Chef Artist Dinner Series at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The dinner, from 6 to 9 p.m. April 24 in the Stan Fulton Building on the UNLV campus, will have four courses plus hors d’oeuvres, with an entree of red-wine-braised short ribs. The next Vegas StrEATS Festival will run from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at the El Cortez, 600 Fremont St.

The Flame Steakhouse at the El Cortez is offering its stone-crab dinners through the end of the stone-crab season, which is May 15. The dinners, available on Fridays and Saturdays, are $28 per pound, served with cottage fries and coleslaw. …
