Maryland Parkway, is, she said, “definitely worth checking out, as they carry a bit of everything!” Recent reader queries that Wynne said could be satisfied at the market include those for pearl sugar, broken sugar, sesame seeds by the pound, vanilla sugar, vanilla powder, extra-long spaghetti, tongue lunch meat, poppy-seed filling and smoked mozzarella. Other local treasure troves for all things offbeat include the International Marketplace, 5000 S. Decatur Blvd., and Village Meat & Wine, 5025 S.
